Change is coming.. Be prepared!!

On October 2, 2017, we will be converting to a new data processing system and we will be closed until about Noon that morning.  The new system will be more modern and allow our staff to work much more efficiently.  We have been working all year to make sure this conversion will be a smooth process.  We’ve spent countless hours on conference calls, as well as in front of a computer, matching hundreds of data fields.  We will spend even more time learning they new system, even before we have it!

Despite all we have done, there are still some things we need you to be aware of and prepare for:

  1. The new system, and therefore your online banking, will not have any history before 10/1/2017.  We will have access to that history, but it will take a little more time to look it up for you, so please be patient with us.
  2. Online banking will not be available from end of day September 30 through October 3.  Once up and running, your  initial password will be the last 4 digits of your social security number.
  3. EARS (audio response) will not be available from end of day  September 30 through October 2.  Your default PIN number will be the last four digits of your social security number once you are ready to log on.
  4. You will have to REGISTER for our new bill pay service, even if you are a power user today.  Your old payees will NOT be transferred to the new system.  We recommend you print out all your payee information before 9/30/2017 so you can reenter it in the new system to restart your payments as soon as possible.
  5. Everyone will receive hardcopy statements for the September quarter-end even if you are signed up for e-statements now.  The two years of e-statement history in online banking will no longer be there, either.  Download and save those statements if needed.  We can provide them later, but at a charge.
  6. All ACH’s we have received on or before September 30 will be posted on September 29 and September 30.  This includes deposits and withdrawals actually dated for the following week.  Please be aware of these transactions and have funds available to pay them.
  7. September 30-October 3, your debit card POS transaction limits will decrease back to $1,000 while the credit union is offline, so if possible, wait to buy that expensive airplane ticket until notified your higher limits are back in place.
  8. Your member number will remain the same, but some of your account suffixes may change.  We will provide additional information on this later.
